MULLINS — Mrs. Virginia Ervin Dadds, 72, widow of Roland O. Dadds, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, March 3, in Devotion Gardens Cemetery, with the Rev. Glenn Brown officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Mrs. Dadds was born Aug. 15, 1933, in Kent County, Md., a daughter of the late Thomas and Lula Mae Kemp Ervin. She retired from Anderson Brothers Bank. Mrs. Dadds was a member of Woodlawn Park Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Dadds are her children, Tommy Dadds and his wife, Delores, of Marion, Darlene Dadds of Mullins, Jay Dadds and his wife, Marshall, of Mullins and Annette Espinosa of Mountain Home, Idaho; her grandchildren, Ryan Dadds, John Moore, Crystal Simmons, Bryan Cullipher, Shawn Espinosa, Winn Dadds, Stephanie Dadds, Stacy Espinosa and Raymond Dadds; six great-grandchildren; five brothers, Robert Ervin, George Ervin, Nathaniel Ervin and Ollie Ervin, all of Maryland, and Henry Ervin of Virginia; and five sisters, Betty Register of Conway and Carolyn Chapman, Christine Brittingham, Debbie Conley and Gerry Morris, all of Maryland. Mrs. Dadds was predeceased by four brothers, Harry Ervin, Linwood Ervin, Billy Ervin and Jimmy Ervin. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
