    2. MULLINS — Mrs. Jean Pittman “City Twin” Graves, age 83, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, in Marion County Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Sally Hardwick Pittman. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.C. Graves Jr. and two sisters, Katherine P. Game Daniel and Elizabeth P. Walker. She was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church, a member of McCormick-Perritt Circle and Wesley Sunday School Class. Mrs. Graves is survived by one son, O.C. “Buddy” Graves III and his wife, Dea, of Mullins and one daughter, Jane G. Ward and her husband, Herb, of Mullins. Also, one sister, Jane P. “Country Twin” Daniel of Nichols; four grandchildren, Denton and Marti Graves, Emmy Shaw and Mary Catherine Ward; two special friends, Mary Duncan and Mary Dudley. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Meares Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9, in Devotion Gardens in Mullins. Memorials may be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church, 402 N. Main, Mullins, SC 29574, Epworth Children’s Home, P.O. Box 50466, Columbia, SC 29250-0466 or a charity of one’s choice. Meares Funeral Home of Mullins has been given the honor of serving the family of Mrs. Graves.
