MARION — Mrs. Reba Lee Hughes Turbeville, 80, widow of W.P. Hughes Sr., died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at Regency Hospital in Florence after an illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at Mullins-Marion Freewill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Neil Hinson and the Rev. Thad Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Devotion Gardens Cemetery, directed by Smith-Collins Funeral Home. Mrs. Turbeville was born Jan. 6, 1926, in Horry County, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ila Singleton Capps. She was a homemaker and a member of Mullins-Marion Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Turbeville are two sons, Larry Hughes and his wife, Mary Lucy, of Marion and William Hughes and his wife, Sara, of Columbia; a daughter, Jennette Rabon of Marion; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Turbeville was predeceased by a daughter, Jane Hughes Capps; a brother; and two sisters. Memorials may be made to Mullins-Marion Freewill Baptist Church, 214 Drew Road, Mullins, SC 29574. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Smith-Collins Funeral Home.
