    2. EUTAWVILLE | Mrs. Irene Duncan Cook, 84, of Fountain Lake Drive, Eutawville, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006 in a Charleston hospital. She was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Frank Israel and Cornie Willoughby Israel. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing. Surviving are her husband, Earl C. Cook of the home; sons, Franklin Duncan of Byron, Ga., Lacy Duncan of Eutawville, Laverne Duncan of Nichols, and Barney Duncan of Summerville; sister, Esther Hires of Charleston; brothers, Lonzo Israel of Nichols, and J. E. Israel of North Charleston; half-sisters, Janette Cannon of Georgetown, Edith Warrells of Charleston, W.Va., and Esther Arere of Beckley, W.Va.; half-brothers, Bud Israel of Beckley W.Va., and Derrill Israel of Atlanta; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Cook will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Locke officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols. The casket will be placed in the church at 9 a.m. Friends may call at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill from 6 to 8 p.m. this Friday and at the home of Lacy Duncan, 14125 Old Number Six Hwy., Eutawville.
