CONWAY | William ''Buddy'' Richardson, 59, son of the late William Grady Richardson and Eliza Elease Richardson, passed away on Tuesday Feb. 21, 2006, at his home located in the Pee Dee Community. Mr. Richardson was born on Feb. 17, 1947 in Marion, S.C. He served his country in both the Army and Navy. He received an honorable discharge from the Navy in 1965, and from the Army in 1969. Mr. Richardson had many friends and was always known as ''Buddy.'' He loved to fish and was very fond of his sisters. He was a kind and generous man. His family will miss him dearly. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Delores Elease Richardson and Gail Domingo. Mr. Richardson is survived by three sisters, Jennie Lou Richardson of Marion, Nettie Richardson of Nichols, and Bonnie (Kelly) McDowell of Conway. Graveside services for Mr. Richardson will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2006, at Brittons Neck Cemetery, with the Rev. Darrell Langston officiating. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2006 at Palmetto Funeral Home. Palmetto Funeral Home is honored to serve the Richardson family.
