    2. MURFREESBORO, Tenn. | Mr. Bernard Rawlings Hubbard Jr., age 65, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006. He was a native of Marion and the son of the late Bernard R. and Mary L. Owens Hubbard Sr. Mr. Hubbard was a member of the Presbyterian church, retired medical technologist, former member of the Tennessee National Guard, attended Citadel University and the University of S.C. He was a graduate of the Southern Academy of Clinical Technology and a member of the Rutherford County Sportsman Club. Mr. Hubbard is survived by his wife, Kay Jolley Hubbard; son, Bernard Hubbard III and his wife, Kathy, all of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; daughter, Beth H. Crabtree and her husband, David, of Hartsville, Tenn.; sister, Mary H. Tortorici and her husband, Frank, of Marion; and grandchildren, Morgan and Lindsey Hubbard, and Ellie Crabtree. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Stephen Caine. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Terry Spence, Dan Fanning, Charlie Boger, Junior Crouse, David Hudson, and Jim Duncan.
