MULLINS — Beverly Gail Smith Roberts, 58 ,died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Marion County Medical Center. She was born March 4, 1950 in New Jersey, a daughter of Ann Lukaswitz Smith and the late Raymond Smith. Beverly was a homemaker and an avid gardener. She loved to grow and can vegetables. She loved country music, was an avid artist and photographer. Beverly was of the Catholic faith. Surviving Beverly are: her Daughter: Holly Thompson and her husband David of Marion; her Mother: Ann Lukaswitz Smith of Conway; 3 Grandchildren: E. Wayne Allen, Raeanna Thompson and Trey Thompson and his wife Becky; a Great Grandchild: Allison Thompson; a Sister: Barbara Deremer and her husband Clay of Mt. Pleasant; a Nephew: David Deremer and his wife Stacy of Copper Hill, Va.; and a Niece: Jennifer Deremer of Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 7 at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
