KNIGHTDALE, N.C. | Neal Franklin ''Frank'' Collins, 69, husband of Beth Atkinson Collins, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Rex Healthcare. He was born June 25, 1939 in Marion, South Carolina to the late Neal Clardy Collins and Reba Shaw Collins. Frank served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from International Paper Co., and also from Tritest, Inc. Surviving Frank in addition to his wife of the home are two sons, Michael Collins of Florence and Mitchell Collins and wife, Therese, of Winter Park, Fla.; two grandchildren, Dakota and Madison Collins; two brothers, Charles Collins of Marion and Ronald Collins of Bennettsville; three sisters, Carolyn C. Jackson of Dillon, Annette C. Carter of Mullins, and Donna C. Massey of Conway; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by a son, Maurice ''Reece'' Collins; a brother, Ray Collins; a sister, Jean C. Carter; and a niece, Renee McRae Foster. Memorial services will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel in Knightdale, N.C. Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2008 in Tranquil United Methodist Church Cemetery in Mullins directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins.
