NICHOLS | George David Clark, 80, of Nichols, passed away at his home, Friday, November 21, 2008 with his family by his side. George was born July 30th 1928, to Clarence Abner Clark and Margaret Adelle Moulden. He was raised in Arlington, Virginia and retired to South Carolina in 1997. George was a loving husband, devoted father, a terrific grandfather, and best friend. He had such an amazing spirit, very outgoing and full of life. George enjoyed many things in life, including a strong love for Golf with his best golfing buddies, Jim Leypoldt, Tracy Heacock and Dave Barnett, but nothing compared to his love for his wife, kids and grandson. George is survived by his wife, Linda Clark of Nichols; daughter, Stephanie Clark of Myrtle Beach; son, Stephen Clark of Nichols; grandson, Gavin Vink of Myrtle Beach; brother, Richard Clark of Loris; sisters, Diane and Patty of Northern Virginia; and many friends who were blessed to have him in their lives and loved him dearly. The family gathered for a private dinner and celebration of his life. George's spirit will live on in our hearts, though he is a soul that will be greatly missed.
