AYNOR | Mr. Jesse Keith Smith Sr., 77, of Bud Graham Road passed away October 21, 2008 at McLeod Regional Medical Center following an illness. Mr. Smith was born May 27, 1931 in Aynor, a son of the late David Earl and Lucille Keith Mishoe Smith. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, a life member of the Masonic Lodge No. 61 of Conway, a member of the Shriners and a member of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Association. Mr. Smith was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Charlotte Graham Smith. Surviving are his wife, Ethel Friar Smith of the home; one son, Jesse Keith Smith Jr. of Conway; one stepson, Ronald L. Lee and his wife, Teresa, of Darlington; one daughter, Kathryn Smith Finger of Nichols; one stepdaughter, Kathy Lee and her husband, Randy, of Darlington; one brother, Raymond Earl Smith Sr. of Conway; one sister, Estelle Graham Wright of Loris; three grandchildren, Jarrett Keith Ambrose, Jeremy Morris Finger, and Melony Finger Lamotte; two step-grandchildren, Ryan Lee and Jamie Streett; and three great-grandchildren, Alexis Taylor Ambrose, Elliott Stoyan Finger, and James Rawlings Brewer Lamotte Jr. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2008 in Antioch Baptist Church, with the Rev. Chris Jordan and the Rev. Gordon Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
