LORIS | Mrs. Denise Bowman Smith, 47, died Monday, October 27, 2008, at Loris Community Hospital following an illness. Born September 24, 1961 in Rock Hill, to Mr. Leslie ''Sonny'' Bowman and Mrs. Eva Fowler Bowman. Mrs. Smith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was a homemaker and attended the Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Timothy Wayne Smith Sr., of Loris; her mother, Eva Fowler Fennell of Loris; two sons, Daniel Joseph Smith and Timothy Smith Jr. both of Little River; three daughters, Renee Ford and husband, Chris, of Mullins, Tuesday Raynor and Tracey Fedan and husband, Scott, all of Loris; two brothers, Darryl Bowman of Loris, and James Fennell and wife, Teresa, of Conway; two sisters, Donna Blanton and husband, Stuart, of Loris, and Laura Belle of Conway; and six grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all who love her. Funeral services will be private.
