MARION, SC — Louise P. Godbold, 89, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at McLeod Hospice House after an extended illness. The family will receive friends Friday, October 31, at Richardson Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 1 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, followed by burial in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Godbold was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Junius Adger Price and Lorena Davis Price. She is also predeceased by her husband, Marion H. Godbold; brothers, Thomas Adger Price and Junius C. Price; and sisters, Lillie Mae Hinds and Bessie P. Shaw, Mrs. Godbold was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and was retired from Francis Marion University. Survivors are a daughter, Alice B. Elvington and her husband, Tony C. Elvington of Marion; a sister, Doris P. Bailey of Florence; and a granddaughter, Ashley L. Elvington of Marion.
