MULLINS — Ann P. Collins, 64, died on Thursday, October 9, 2008 surrounded by her family at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Magaline Gause Prince Herndon. Mrs. Collins was predeceased by one sister, Betty Jo Hiatt. Mrs. Collins was a member of the Mullins-Marion Freewill Baptist Church. Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband, William Collins of the home; one son, Jeff (Susan) Elliott of Dillon; one daughter, Donna (Gary) Gasque of Nichols; two brothers, Walter Ray (Buddy) Prince of Marion; George (Shorty) Franklin (Martha) Prince of Olanta; one sister, Brenda Strickland of Mullins; five grandchildren; Dustin Collins (like a son), Brittany Elliott, Chad Turvbeville, Eliana Gasque, and Bradley Butler. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at 2:30 P.M. in the Chapel at Meares Funeral Home with the Reverends Neil Hinson and Thad Jacobs officiating.
