MARION — Dennis Lynn Prosser, 54, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at McLeod Hospice House after an extended illness. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 22, at the Church of the Advent in Marion. Burial will follow at 3:30 PM at Kingstree Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 21, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Richardson Funeral Home. Mr. Prosser was born in Kingstree, a son of the late Henry Eldridge Prosser and Sara Jane Driggers Prosser. He is also predeceased by a brother, Bryce Prosser. Dennis worked as General Manger for F.T. Zeman Electric and Refrigeration. He was a member of Marion Church of the Advent where he served as Junior Warden and a member of the Mission Committee. He was a graduate of Lake City High School. Surviving are his wife, Paulena Wiehrs Prosser of the home; daughter, Sara Elizabeth Prosser, also of the home; and brother, Carroll E. Prosser and his wife, Lynn of Surfside Beach.
