GALIVANTS FERRY | Peggy H. Graham, 65, wife of Walden B. Graham of Graham Lake Road, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Conway Medical Center. Mrs. Graham was born December 7, 1943 in Nichols, a daughter of the late Emerson J. and Lou Strickland Hooks. Mrs. Graham was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and the Horry County Planning Commission. She was the Zone Chairman and the past president of the Aynor Lions Club; a member of the Horry County State Bank Advisory Board, the owner and broker of Graham Reality. She was predeceased by one sister, Berline H. Mincey of Nichols; and one brother Jack Hooks: of Bessimer City, N.C. Surviving, in addition to her husband of the home, are two sons, Kenneth W. Graham and his wife, Doris Jean, Michael N. Graham and his wife, Charlean; two grandchildren, Kenneth B. Graham and his wife, Heather, and Jessica N. Graham, all of Galivants Ferry; one brother, Elbert A. Pete Hooks of Montverde, Florida; two sisters, Lonie Mincey of Gainsville Florida and Sadie Rae Smith of Aynor. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2009 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Jordan and the Rev. Gordon Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Home.
