TABOR CITY, N.C. | Isadora Fowler, 83, died Sunday night, May 21, 2006 in Loris Hospital. She was born in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Gurley G. and Lettie Fowler Fowler. She is survived by her husband, W.C. ''Cha'' Fowler of Tabor City, N.C.; one son, William Larry Fowler and wife, Renea, of Little River; three daughters, Alice F. Porter and husband, Levi Porter, Billie F. Lancaster, and Peggy A. Fowler, all of Tabor City, N.C.; one sister, Merlin F. Fipps of Loris; four grandchildren, Jeffrey L. Porter and wife, Kathy, of Little River; Sharon LaCha Porter-Goff and husband, Kim, of Loris, William Joseph Lancaster of Nichols and Bridget Annadora Fowler of Little River; great-grandchildren, Edith Lauren Porter of Little River and Jeffrey Lance Porter of Charleston; two nephews, Michael Glenn Fowler of Tabor City, N.C. and Mickey Ray Cartrette of Archdale, N.C.; and special friend, Marjorie Tyler. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gleon Pete Fowler. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Inman Chapel, conducted by the Revs. Bobby Cartrette and Wilbur Fipps, with interment in the McPherson Cemetery.
