MULLINS — A memorial service for Gladys Daniel Smith, 88, widow of Eustice Smith, is 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Millers United Methodist Church. Cox-Collins Funeral Home is in charge. Born in Marion County to J. French and Golda McCumber Daniel, she died August 17, 2006. Surviving are daughters, Joy Lane, Janet Platt; grandchildren, Steven, Lee Platt, Stephen, Ashley, Katherine Lane; sister, Clara Johnson.
