MULLINS | Mr. James Percy King, 96, died Monday, Aug. 21, , at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. He was the son of the late Mathew P. and Carrie Smith King. Mr. King was a life-long member of Mullins First Baptist Church. He was an employee of McMillan Motor Company for 43 years. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mamie King Russ. Mr. King is survived by his wife of 66 years, Inez Squires King; two sons, James P. King Jr. and his wife, Sally of Los Angeles, Calif. and Lavern R. James of Charleston; one daughter, Marguerite King Summers of Cary, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Alberta Squires Gavin of Syracuse, N.Y.
