NICHOLS — Floyd Michael (Mike) Collins, age 58 of Nichols died on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 in the Loris Community Hospital after an illness. Mike was born in Marion County, a son of the late Clifton W. and Pearl Floyd Collins. Mr. Collins was a farmer, a lifelong member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Olivia Libby Evans Collins of the home; sons, Robert and David Collins of Little River, S.C.; Devan (Neel) Shah, Atlanta, Ga., and Lindsey Collins of Nichols, S.C.; brothers, C.W. Butch Collins, Jr. of Florence, Glenn (Wanda) Collins, Smithfield, N.C., and Tim (Millie) Collins of Florence; sister, Cathy (Al) Erwin of Pamplico. Funeral services will be held at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Nichols, S.C. on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
