    2. MULLINS — Mrs. Jessie Teague Schoolfield, 91, widow of William Bethell Schoolfield, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Mullins Nursing Center after an illness. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 9 in Cedardale Cemetery. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Mrs. Schoolfield was born July 8, 1916 In Laurens, S.C., a daughter of the late Herbert Fuller Teague and the late Clementina Golding Fuller Teague. She was a graduate of Winthrop College. Mrs. Schoolfield was very active in her community and her church, Macedonia United Methodist Church. Surviving Mrs. Schoolfield are: 3 Daughters: Jean S. Tower of Mullins, Sue S. Guy and her husband Dan of Lake City and Ann S. Simpson and her husband Tommy of Mullins; 4 Grandchildren: Mary Sue Morrison, Daniel Guy, Jr., Rex Simpson and Hughes Simpson; and 8 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Schoolfield was predeceased by a son-in-law, Hugh Tower; 2 Brothers, Martin Teague and Calvin Teague; and a sister, Clemigene T. Baiden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church, 402 N. Main St., Mullins, S.C. 29574 or to Mullins Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 671, Mullins, S.C. 29574 or to McLeod Hospice, P.O. Box 100551, Florence, S.C. 29501 or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd., Bethesda, Md. 20814.
