MULLINS — Mrs. Letha Edwards Crawford, 84, widow of James Vance Crawford, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at McLeod Hospice House following an illness. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 13, 2008, at 10:00 A.M. at the chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Followed by interment at Riverside Cemetery in Nichols, S.C. Mrs. Crawford was born May 3, 1924 in Horry County, S.C., a daughter of the late William Edwards and the late Minnie Richardson Edwards. Mrs. Crawford was a graduate of the Mullins Hospital School of Nursing, where she earned her L.P.N. degree. She was also an active homemaker and a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Crawford are: 2 Sons: James Vance Crawford, Jr. of Lincolnton, N.C., and Wilbur P. Price of Hopewell, V.A.; 2 Brothers: Stacey Edwards of Conway, Lide Edwards of Little River; 4 Sisters: Juanita Norris of Currie, N.C., Helen Barfield of Mullins, Jane Causey of Mullins, Hazel McKenzie of Mullins; 4 Grandchildren; and 5 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Crawford was predeceased by 2 Brothers, Bill Edwards and Earl Edwards ; and a Sister, Maggie Cook. Visitation for Mrs. Crawford will be held, Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Cox-Collins Funeral Home, from 6-8 P.M. Cox-Collins Funeral Home is proud to be assisting the family in their time of need.
