NICHOLS — Mr. William Edward W.E. Montgomery, 63, husband of Lois Martin Montgomery, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at his home after an extended illness. He was born January 15, 1945 in Moncks Corner, S.C., a son of the late William Edward Montgomery, Sr. and the late Loraine Langley Montgomery. Mr. Montgomery retired from Pelton-Crain Dental Equipment Manufacturing Company in Charlotte, N.C. He was a member of Rains Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving Mr. Montgomery in addition to his Wife of the home are: his Children: Lynette Hornaday of Bolivia, N.C., Melissa Rhyne of Charlotte, N.C., Allison M. Blackley and her husband Sven of Clayton, N.C., Beau Montgomery of Conway and Taylor Montgomery of Raleigh, N.C.; a Stepson: Keith Britt and his wife Melanie of Augusta, Ga.; 9 Grandchildren: Ryan Spooner, Drew Rhyne, Alicia Hornaday, Brook Hornaday, Rebecca Helms, Georgia Hornaday, Dillon Montgomery, Alicia Britt and Amanda Britt; and a Sister: Elizabeth Taylor and her husband Jerry of Concord, N.C. Mr. Montgomery was predeceased by a brother, James Thompson Montgomery. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 27 at Rains Freewill Baptist Church, with Rev. Richard Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 7 til 9 P.M. at Rains Freewill Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Rains Freewill Baptist Church, 3713 W.J.
