The State (Columbia): Sunday, August 26, 2001 Hubert Watson DILLON -- Services for Hubert Pierce Watson, 31, will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at the Latta High School Gymnasium with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Hugh Watson Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Latta High School, 502 North Richardson Street, Latta, SC 29565. Mr. Watson died Saturday, August 25, 2001. Born in Marion County on December 2, 1969, he was the son of Hubert E. Watson and Alma Carter Watson. He was the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director for the Latta Vikings, member of the S.C. Coaches Association, Hubert Watson & Son Rentals, and was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Bethea Watson of Dillon; daughter, Allison Martin Watson of Dillon; son, Pierce Watson of Dillon; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Watson of Dillon; sister, Amy Lynn Baucom of Boiling Springs, N.C.; grandmother, Eva T. Watson of Floyd Dale.
