Aug 16, 2001 John Richard Hyatt MARION -- Mr. John Richard Hyatt, 29, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2001. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 from Antioch Baptist Church near Galivant's Ferry. Burial will follow at HillCrest Cemetery in Conway. Mr. Hyatt was born in Charleston, a son of Betty Causey Altman and Kenneth B. Hyatt. He worked as a ranch hand on a horse ranch in Montana. Surviving in addition to his mother and father are a stepfather, James F. Altman of Charleston; brothers, Kenneth B. Hyatt Jr. of Melbourne, Fla., Walter J. Hyatt of Deer Lodge, Mont., Randy Altman of Charleston and Freddie Altman of Winchester, Va.; and a sister, Linda Agguire of Baton Rouge, La.
