Mr. Shaw died at his residence after a sudden illness. Born in Marion Co., he was a son of the late Ellie and Flora Belle Lewis Shaw. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are his brother, James "Jimmy" Shaw of Florence; sisters, Essie Mae Taylor, Doris S. Weatherford, both of Florence; a number of nieces and nephews.
