The State (Columbia): Wednesday, August 8, 2001 Ronnie Williams HAMER (--) Services for Ronnie Williams, 32, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Hamer Church of God with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 this evening in the funeral home. Mr. Williams died Saturday, August 4, 2001 in Brownsville, Texas from injuries sustained in an accident. Born in Dillon County, January 8, 1969, he was the son of Ann Shay Williams and the late Gary Williams Sr. He was a truck driver. Surviving are his wife, Kerri Williams of Hamer; sisters, Cynthia (Earl) Brown of Hamer and Nancy Sparks of Dillon; brothers, Joe Blackmon of Columbia, Robert Blackmon of Hamer, and Gary (Pam) Williams Jr. of Latta; mother, Ann Williams of Hamer; grandmother, Anna Shay of Dover, N.J.; 28 nieces & nephews. Mr. Williams was predeceased by his father, Gary Williams Sr., grandmother, Beulah Williams, grandfathers, Robert Shay and Foe Williams, and his niece, Tabitha Brown.
