Betty Jo Regarding the posting on SCMarion Digest #58 "Rogers in the Fork Baptist Church Cemetery" You mentioned Ben Frank Rogers, b.3-4-1918. d.4-1-1945 363 Field Artillery, World War II, and said you did not recognize the name. According to information I got from my Uncle, Ed Caldwell (also known as "Sparky" or "Bug") Ben Frank was the son of Sally Kitt Edwards and William Sydney Rogers. He stated that Ben Frank never married, and evidently lost an arm during the war. I have not done any research on that line of the family yet, but Uncle Sparky had done quite a bit on the Edwards line. Hope this helps.
