The State (Columbia): Monday, September 3, 2001 Virgie McGrady DILLON -- Services for Virgie Davis McGrady, 82, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Dillon Church of God with burial in Riverside Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Dillon Church of God Senior Fellowship, P.O. Box 573, Dillon, SC 29536 or the Dillon Camp of Gideons, P.O. Box 111, Dillon, SC 29536. Mrs. McGrady, widow of Robert Curtis McGrady, died Saturday at St. Eugene Medical Center. Born in Dillon County on September 26, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Davis and Lillie Baxley Davis. Mrs. McGrady was a homemaker, member of the Dillon Church of God, and salesperson for several companies. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Barney Stanton of Dillon; son, Leon McGrady of Dillon; sister, Lillian Duncan of Rock Hill; brother, Eugene Davis of Maryland; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Isabelle Hatcher and her brother, Paul Davis.
