I am attempting to transcribe some of the census records for posting on the Marion County web page. So many of the names are either too faded to read or difficult to figure out what all the letters are. But the ones that really frustrate me are the ones the enumerator or someone wrote something else over the names. I have a Selllers, first name looks like Price. Age 39, lawyer, in Manning Township. Wife Mary Sue, children A. Leona, J. DuBois, P. Bruce, Mildred E. and W. Maynard. Also listed in the same household Meta A DuBois S-in-law. Can someone help me out with the first name of the head of the house hold. Then I have one that looks like C. Hervert, with wife Ruth. Any suggestions as to what this name could be. Helen
Helen: On what page of the Manning Township are you looking. Give me a page number so I can find it and I will check and see if I can help.
