The State (Columbia): Wednesday, September 5, 2001 Julia Page LAKE VIEW -- Services for Julia Gibson Page, 92, will be held at 3 p.m. today, September 5, 2001 at First Baptist Church of Lake View. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, directed by Cook Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Lake View. Mrs. Page died Monday, September 3, 2001 in Pines Nursing Center after an illness. Born in McColl, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Mamie Smith Gibson. She was a member of the Friday Afternoon Book Club of Lake View and was a volunteer for the Red Cross. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake View and served as treasurer and children's Sunday School teacher. She and her husband were business partners. Surviving are daughters, Nancy Page Dunlap (John C.) of Columbia and Ann Page Griffin of Lake View; grandchildren, Hunter Griffin, Page Griffin Smith, Edward Vance Griffin III, Kelly Dunlap Lovejoy and John C. Dunlap Jr.; nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Page was preceded in death by her husband, Burney Page and a son, Burney Lee Page Jr.
