In my book about newspaper abstracts from THE MARION STAR: 3 January 1883 Mrs. Amanda Rogers, wife of Mr. R.R.Rogers, died Dec. 24. 4 August 1875 R.R. Rogers returned home at close of war. Private in Company "F" SC Cavalry. Organized in fall of 1861. Remained on coast of SC until April 1864, when it was ordered to Va. Hope this helps. Elsie Swilley
