The State (Columbia): Thursday, September 20, 2001 Emory Lane Sr. FLORENCE -- Services for Emory Neil Lane Sr., 63, of 301 Landsdale Drive, will be held at 2 p.m. today, September 20, 2001 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Eastside Christian Church, 3541 E. Palmetto St., Florence, SC 29506. Mr. Lane died Monday evening, September 17, 2001 in a Florence hospital after an illness.. Born in Williamsburg Co., he was a son of the late Joseph Eston and Sadie Duke Lane. He was a member of Eastside Christian Church. He was employed by Carolina Supply House and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Richburg Lane of Florence; son, Emory Neil Lane Jr. of Darlington; daughter, Connie Lane Driggers of Florence; brothers. J.E. Lane Jr. and Lloyd R. Lane, both of Kingstree; sisters, Carolyn L. McConnell and Grace L. Robinson, both of Kingstree and Miriam L. McCain of Effingham; grandchildren, Garrett, Justin and Shawn Driggers, Taylor and Cameron Lane.
