The State (Columbia): Tuesday, September 18, 2001 Beulah O'Tuel BENNETTSVILLE -- Services for Beulah "Boot" Brigman O'Tuel, 77, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Antioch United Methodist Church with burial in Brigman Family Cemetery. Visitation is from 7-9 this evening at the church. Whitner-Evans Funeral Home is in charge. Mrs. Brigman, widow of Howard Steadman O'Tuel Jr., died Sunday, September 16, 2001. Born in Marlboro County, she was a daughter of the late Jessie and Bessie Chavis Brigman. She was the retired owner of O'Tuels' Grocery. She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church and the U.M.W. and was a member of Smyrna Senior Citizens. Surviving are son, Vernon O'Tuel of Bennettsville; daughters, Doris Wallace of Greenville and Betty Ann Herndon of Bennettsville; brother, John Wesley Brigman of Bennettsville; sisters, Eva Newton of McColl and Dorothy McKenzie of Bennettsville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Howard "Bubba" O'Tuel and a brother, Roy Brigman.
