LAKE VIEW — Mr. Roy H. Ford, 63, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at his home after an illness. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake View. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Nichols, directed by Cook Funeral Home of Lake View. The family will receive friends Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Ford was born in Horry County on July 31, 1945, the son of the late Major and Flossie Elliott Ford. Mr. Ford retired from DuPont where he worked in the power area. He also served in the National Guard Reserve. Mr. Ford was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake View. Surviving Mr. Ford is his wife, Ann Cook Ford of the home; son, Chris Ford (Susan) of Duford; daughter, Candice C. Ford of Lake View; brother, Matt Ford (Deborah) of Moncks Corner; grandchildren, Marianda Ford, Houston Bryce Ford, Aaron Christopher Ford and Kadence Nicole Coleman and a host of nieces and nephews. **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above.
