MYRTLE BEACH | Lois Jewell Soles James, 77, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Georgetown Hospital. Mrs. James was born in Marion, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Biscoe and Flaida Mae Richardson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee James; and a grandson, Shaun Tyler James. Survivors include four sons, Edward James and wife, Eloise, of Myrtle Beach, Willard James and wife, Anne, of Myrtle Beach, Michael James of Conway, and Tommy James of Conway; a daughter, Shannon James Burchett and Robert Burmeister; and six grandchildren, Stephanie and Christy James, Hayden Sloan, Ashley James, Sasha Burchett and Brianna Burmeister. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with the Rev. Kirk Lawton officiating.
