MULLINS — Mrs. Mary Thelma Thomas Collins, 66, widow of Don L. Collins, died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after an illness. She was born June 8, 1942 in Marion County, a daughter of the late N.J. and Margaret Walker Thomas. Mrs. Collins was a homemaker and a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Collins are: her Children: Timmy (Angie) Collins of Marion, Robbin (Robert) Bullock of Brownsville, Ky., Wayne (Kim) Collins of Mullins, Bryan (Trinity) Collins of Mullins and Ryan (Dawn) Collins of Aynor; 13 Grandchildren; her Sisters and Brothers: Libby Jordan of Tabor City, N.C., Jean (Ralph) Best of Fork, Jessie (Gordon) Collins of Nichols, Joe Thomas of Mullins, Andy (Marie) Thomas of Effingham and Paul (Debbie) Thomas of Marion; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Collins was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jessica Marie Bullock. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 11 at Little Bethel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Glenn Brown and the Rev. Mike Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Little Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
