GREENWOOD — Ann Skipper Rogers, 75, of 107 Yosemite Drive, wife of Charles T. Ted Rogers, died Thursday, February 05, 2009 at Hospice House. Born in Marion, she was a daughter of the late George Herbert and Juanita Davis Skipper. She was a graduate of Marion High School and retired from the Marion Medical Group in 1996. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Greenwood, and First United Methodist Church of Marion. Surviving is her husband of the home; a daughter, Sara Diehl and her husband, Ed, of Marietta, GA; two sisters, Frances Skipper of Marion and Betty Jean Whitesell of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Frank Skipper and Jimmy Skipper, both of Marion and a granddaughter, Amy Hixson of Decatur, GA. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Marion First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Long officiating. The family is at the home.
