MARION Bobbie J. Edwards Bobbie Jean Edwards, 69, widow of John Lanneau Edwards, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was born in Marion, a daughter of the late Cletus and Cora T. James. She retired from Russell Stover Candies and was a member of McMillan Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, John Lanneau Edwards Jr. of Marion and Steve Allen Edwards and his wife, Joy, of Marion; a daughter, Dorothy Edwards Lane and her husband, Woodrow, of Marion; five brothers, Fulton James of Petersburg, Va., Robert James of Lake Wales, Fla., Cecil James, Benny James and Jimmy James of Marion; a sister, Barbara Odom of Marion; and four grandchildren, Brad, Lance, Chris and Jamie Edwards. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at McMillan Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will be in Devotion Gardens Cemetery.
