ASHEVILLE, N.C. Virginia V. Taylor Virginia Vernon Taylor, 92, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001. She was born in Fork, a daughter of the late Charles Edward and Vernon Harrelson Taylor. She was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Asheville. She served the Lord as house mother at many orphanages throughout the United States and taught for many years at Asheville Christian Academy. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Clydie S. Taylor of Mullins; several nieces, Jean Claire English and Shirley H. Harris, both of Mullins, Ann and Elizabeth Mullins, both of Marion, Ben and Beth Mullins, both of Marion, Sara Vernon Taylor of North Carolina, Rebecca Grier of Virginia, Nancy Perkins Smith of Ohio; and a nephew, William F. Perkins of California. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Red Hill Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Archie Moore will officiate. Memorials may be made to Asheville Christian Academy, P.O.
