    3. The State (Columbia): Sunday, December 2, 2001 Hollis Hubbard CLIO -- Graveside services for Hollis Wells Hubbard, 94, will be held at 3 p.m. today in Hebron Cemetery. Whitner-Evans Funeral Home of Bennettsville is in charge. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 300 Society Street, Clio, SC 29525. Mr. Hubbard died Friday. Born in Clio, he was a son of the late Tracy Harmon and Mary McQuage Hubbard. Mr. Hubbard was a graduate of Clio High School and attended Wofford College, where he was a member of SAE fraternity. He was a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where he was the Chairman of the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees and a Sunday school teacher. He was also a retired manager with Belk-Simpson Department Stores. Mr. Hubbard was a former member of the Golden K Kiwanis. Surviving are his wife, Minnie Harms Hubbard; son, Sam McCuen of Columbia; brothers, Jack Hubbard of Clio, Jennings Hubbard of Walterboro; grandchildren, Mrs. Harry "Kathy" Huntley of Columbia, Mrs. Michael "Debbie" Elmore of Cheraw, Mrs. Scott "Sandra" Holland of Charlotte; eight great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Julia Edwards Hubbard and their infant daughter, Mary Evelyn Hubbard.
