MULLINS — Mr. James Beaty, 76, husband of Geneva Martin Beaty, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at Marion County Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, in Devotion Gardens Cemetery. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Born May 17, 1929, in Horry County, Mr. Beaty was a son of the late Will and Ellen Cannon Beaty. Mr. Beaty was a retired farmer and attended Mullins-Marion Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving Mr. Beaty, in addition to his wife of the home, are his children, D ebbie George of Latta, Vickie Brumfield of Moncks Corner and Randy Beaty of Mullins; three grandchildren, Pam George, Lisa Jackson and Brad Jackson; and a sister, Carrie Gunter of Lake City. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
