    2. LORIS | Mrs. Mary Ellen Cannon Floyd, age 59, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at Loris Healthcare Systems following a sudden illness. Born May 29, 1946 in Loris, Mrs. Floyd was the daughter of the late Henry Hallie Cannon and the late Mattie Ruth Stevens Cannon. Mrs. Floyd was a homemaker and a member of the New Home Baptist Church # 1. Survivors include her husband, Billy Floyd of Loris; four sons, Randy Grainger of Marion and Charlie Grainger, Eddie Grainger, and Jesse Grainger all of Loris; one daughter-in-law, Eva Grainger of Loris; one brother, Earl Cannon of Myrtle Beach; five sisters, Alberta Rabon of Loris, Betty Wilson of Cerro Gordo, N.C., Rachel Coffey and Rhonda Cannon, of Loris, and Debbie Goff of Longs; and six grandchildren. Mrs. Floyd was predeceased by two brothers, ONeal Cannon and Bill Cannon. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, at the Hardwick Memorial Chapel with burial following at New Home Cemetery # 1. The Rev. Lloyd Williamson and the Rev.
