OLANTA — Randleson Alison Floyd, Jr., age 65, died Friday, January 20, 2006 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Sunday (January 22, 2006) at Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Sunday (January 22, 2006) one hour prior to the service in the Bethel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Born in Olanta, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Randleson Alison Floyd, Sr. And Alma Wilson Floyd. Mr. Floyd was a U.S. Air Force Veteran; and was a retired landscaper. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Woody Jean Floyd; and a brother, Frankie C. Floyd. Surviving are two daughters, Brandi Danielle Floyd and Tashua Floyd both of Murfreesboro, TN; three sons, Randleson A. Floyd, III of Marion, James (Jennifer) Pendarvis Daniels and Barry Alexander Daniels all of Charleston, SC; one sister, Jerry (Frank) F. Tomlinson of Olanta; and a brother Rudy (Georgia) H. Floyd of Olanta; six grandchildren. The family request that memorials be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Choir Fund or the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
