NICHOLS | Inez Floyd Britt, age 86, died Sunday, January 29, 2006, at Conway Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Boyd Floyd and Emma Hooks Floyd. Mrs. Britt was preceded in death by her husband, Gomez Britt. She was a homemaker and an active member of Wannamaker Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. Britt is survived by four sons, Floyd Britt and his wife, Emmogene, of Nichols, Forrest Britt and his wife, Joy,of Richburg, David Britt and his wife, Kimberly, of Nichols, Phillip Britt of Rock Hill; two daughters, Frances Brown and Emma Vaughn and her husband, Glenn, all of Rock Hill; one brother, Edwin Floyd of Nichols; two sisters, Eunice Britt of Conway and Margaret Bradberry of Florence; and 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Meares Funeral Home.
