    2. FORK, S.C. | Gordon R. ''Rock'' McLellan, 71, husband of Jackie Huggins McLellan, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006 at Marion County Medical Center after an extended illness. Mr. McLellan was born July 15, 1934, in Hamer, S.C., a son of the late Henslee Clifford McLellan and the late Bessie Thompson McLellan. Mr. McLellan retired from Farmers Home Administration after 30 years of service and also retired as a building inspector for Marion County. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1956 to 1960. Mr. McLellan graduated from Dillon High School and was a 1963 graduate of Clemson University. He was an active member of IPTAY and was a member of various civic organizations. Mr. McLellan was a member of Mullins Presbyterian Church, where he served as a deacon and elder and was a past Sunday School Superintendent. Surviving Mr. McLellan in addition to his wife of 45 years and of the home are a daughter, Cynthia Rouse and her husband, William, of Mullins; a son, Gordon McLellan Jr. and his wife, Sherry, of Fork; his grandchildren, Bo Rouse and his wife, Terra, of Florence, Dustin Rouse of Myrtle Beach, Ashton Cody McLellan and Cameron Riley McLellan; his sisters and brothers, Arch Anna Williams of Raleigh, N.C., Bill McLellan and his wife, Ann, of Greenville, Dick McLellan and his wife, Jacque, of Columbia, Barbara Jean McLellan of Jacksonville, Fla., Ann Collie and her husband, Nick, of Laurinburg, N.C. and Dot Murray and her husband, John, of Laurinburg, N.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Mullins Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 671, Mullins, SC 29574. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26th, at Mullins Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Jason Brewer and the Rev. George Ganey officiating. Burial will follow in Cedardale Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
