Edna Marie Metts died Tuesday June 23, 2009 at her residence. Born in Marion County, August 27, 1967, she was the daughter of Thomas William Watson, Jr. and the late Marilyn Patricia Hyatt Watson. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her father, Thomas William Watson, Jr. of Hamer; daughter, Haley Marie Metts of Seneca; sons, Mark Chad Johnson of Wilmington, N.C. and Dillon Metts of Greensboro, N.C.; sister, Sally Mae Watson Wieser of Asheboro, N.C.; brother, Tommy W. Watson III of Hamer. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 P.M. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Lane Family Cemetery. Visitation is 7-9 P.M.
