PAMPLICO — Funeral service for Mrs. Sadie Mae Gause Woodberry will be 2 p.m. June 11, 2009, at the House of God Church, Pamplico. Burial in the Neck Cemetery, Gresham directed by Moses Funeral Home of Pamplico. Mrs. Woodberry died Sunday, June 7 in a Florence hospital after an illness. She was born in Marion County, the daughter of the late Jashua Hemingway and Laura Gause. She attended the Marion County public schools and member of the House of God Church, Pamplico. She retired from Commander Nursing Center. Mrs. Woodberry is the widow of Acie Woodberry Sr. Survivors are two daughters, Laura (Raymond) Stuckey of Middletown, Conn., Diane (Willie) Conyers of Pamplico; six sons, Donald Ray (Deloris) Woodberry of Poston, Acie Jr. (Victoria) of Middletown, Conn., Rodney Woodberry, Ronnie (Diane) Woodberry, both of Florence, Mitchell (fiancƒ©e, Jessica Graham) of the home, Travis (fiancƒ©e, Annie Watts) Woodberry of Myrtle Beach; a granddaughter she raised, Sonya Boo-Boo Woodberry of Florence; two brothers, Fred Gause and Gonza Gause, both of Gresham; 27 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
