    2. MULLINS — Mrs. Ida Ina Harrelson Lewis, 77, wife of Caliph Fonville Lewis, died Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Marion County Medical Center after an illness. She was born October 30, 1931 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Charlie and Maggie Norton Harrelson. Mrs. Lewis retired from the claims department of Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance Company. She had worked at Eagles Dime Store and Ladds in Mullins. Mrs. Lewis had also been employed at one time as an admitting clerk in the Emergency Rooms of Roper Hospital in Charleston and McLeod Hospital in Florence. She was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Wesley Sunday School class and the Celia Perritt Circle. Surviving Mrs. Lewis in addition to her husband of the home is: a Sister: Betty J. Harrelson of Mullins. Mrs. Lewis was predeceased by a sister, Gertrude Jones and a brother, Louis Harrelson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 3 at the Macedonia United Methodist Church Prayer Chapel, with the Rev. Kem Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Millers United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
