Benjamin Clyde Batton, Jr., 60, of Moncks Corner, SC, a former machine operator, died Tuesday evening in a Moncks Corner hospital. His memorial service will be 1:00 PM Sunday afternoon, July 5, 2009, in the Belle Isle Presbyterian Church, Pineville. Mr. Batton was born Oct. 29, 1948, in Bennettsville, SC, a son of Benjamin C. Batton, Sr., and Ruth Williamson Wiggins. He attended Belle Isle Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by three brothers, Curtis, James, and Joseph Batton. Surviving are, his wife, Barbara Evans Batton; his mother of Marion; a son, Benjamin John Batton of Gastonia; three step daughters, Janice Cobb of Gastonia, Janet Fredrick of Belmont, and Kathy Diaz of Augusta; two brothers, Frank Batton of Spartanburg and Bobby Batton of Marion; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren **************Download the AOL Classifieds Toolbar for local deals at your fingertips.
