NICHOLS | Dale Harrelson, 45, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 at his residence after an illness. Dale was born June 8, 1961 in Jacksonville, Fla., a son of Bonnie Lewis Harrelson and the late Walter Fletcher Harrelson. He was assistant manager for Sugar Bears. Dale was a member of Ariel Baptist Church. Surviving Dale are his mother, Bonnie Lewis Harrelson of Nichols; his stepfather, Earl Collins of Nichols; his brothers and sister, Donald Harrelson and his wife, Carolyn, of Marion, Kimberly Elliott and her husband, Brooks, of Nichols and Steve Harrelson and his wife, Teresa, of Nichols; two nieces, Chelsea Harrelson and Amanda Elliott; a nephew, Dillon Elliott; aunts, Mrs. Francis (Beth) Gill of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Billy Joe (Sara) Causey of Nichols, Mrs. Richard (Flora Ruth) Fairbanks of Mullins and Mrs. Hugh (Betty) Lewis of Mullins; and several cousins and special friends. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rusty McAlister and the Rev. Tyler Caines officiating. Burial will follow in Ariel Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday evening, July 31, 2006 from 7 until 9 p.m. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
